Fix My Antenna is a leading TV antenna, internet, and data cabling repairer and installer. We are based in Mansfield, south of the Brisbane CBD, and we service the Brisbane, Logan, Redland Bay, and Moreton Bay region.

New Digital Antenna Installed

I would have to give James from Fix My Antenna a five-star rating for the work he performed. He was very professional and knowledgeable regarding the TV frequencies and the need to have a VHF antenna for receiving SBS.

My old antenna cable needed special work to connect to the new antenna, but James had the expertise to make it work. TV Antenna Power Spikes Fixed

The TV reception in my apartment kept fritzing out. I purchased a new Panasonic digital recorder with a built-in digital receiver but still had problems.

I called in Fix My Antenna to setup my new gear. During the visit, the tech checked the incoming antenna signal and he said a nearby unit likely had a signal booster plugged that was sending way too much power down my antenna line.

The tech put in aerial attenuator to protect against future spikes He also ran extra tests to ensure my gear is now protected. I was shocked when the tech said that an antenna signal over 80dB damages TV gear and kills longevity.

I would definitely recommend Fix My Antenna to others – especially if you live in an apartment and don’t want your digital TV to burn out. 5 stars 🙂

James Cooper – Brisbane Service Manager

Fix My Antenna is led by James Cooper. James has over 20 years’ experience in IT and communications. During his career James has delivered technology solutions for customers as diverse as the Australian Government, NBN Co, TPG Australia, Price Attack Australia, Mission Australia, Harvey Norman, and JB Hi-Fi.

James is fully qualified as a NBN Co Field Technician in optic fibre and Hybrid Fibre Coaxial (HFC) installations. He has previously been a NBN Co Distribution Partner Field Inspector and has years of experience installing and configuring NBN services across SE Queensland including:

James also specialises in the recently introduced Fibre to the Curb (FTTC), and NBN services such as fixed 5G wireless connections, phone systems and associated home networks.

In addition to his NBN experience, James is a qualified Telstra Communications Technician and he has achieved accreditations with ACMA, the Queensland Government, and other regulatory authorities.
